(EN) Some updates to share:

In November, I travelled to Dublin to attend the opening of Collection of Wonders at the Instituto Cervantes, an exhibition that I curated and that includes some of the most outstanding works of the award-winning illustrator and designer Isidro Ferrer. Apart from a guide tour during the opening, I had the great opportunity to give a talk about the history of Spanish design (1939-nowadays) to students and teachers of the National College of Art and Design. It was a great experience and a pleasure to meet so many talented Irish designers there! Above, one of the tweets shared about the exhibition and that event.

And more news – Since October I work for the in-house design department of the publishing house Lonely Planet (Trade & Reference and Lonely Planet Kids books). Really looking forward to sharing the beautiful books I have been working on in these last few months.

Exciting times!

Collection of Wonders in Warsaw

Collection of Wonders is an exhibition that I have curated and includes some of the best works by Isidro Ferrer, a Spanish illustrator and designer awarded the National Prize for Design in 2002 and the National Prize for Illustration in 2006.

Currently on tour, the exhibition has been organised in Kiev as well as in the Centres of the Instituto Cervantes in Prague, Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest and Vienna. As the curator of the exhibition, I have offered talks an guided tours in the Ukraine, Greece and Serbia.

The next stop is Warsaw, where the opening will take place on December 2nd, a week when I will present Collection of Wonders work by work, a guided tour in which I will talk about the pieces included in the exhibition and Isidro Ferrer’s works are contextualized in the illustration scenario in Spain.
