Fine Arts graduate specialised in Book Design and Illustration, I have developed my career in Spain, Belgium, Ukraine, Australia and the United Kingdom.
I currently live in London, where I work as a Book Designer, designing children’s books as well as pictorial and reference titles. I really enjoy the creative process, and work closely with illustrators, editors and creative departments to deliver books from initial concept to final print ready files.
I also have a strong interest in the cultural field, having organised exhibitions, festivals and cultural events. Among others, I curated the exhibition Collection of Wonders, which includes some of the most outstanding works by the illustrator and designer Isidro Ferrer. It was on tour in centres of the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin, Prague, Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Viena and also in a private art gallery in Kiev.
As a speaker, I have given talks on Spanish design and the work of Isidro Ferrer in the Ukraine, Greece, Serbia, Poland and Ireland.

‘Tina’s creativity and talent are apparent in everything she touches, from her clean, clever book interiors to her stunning cover designs. She has an eye for finding amazing new illustrators and a knack for coaxing incredible work from them. She’s hardworking, mindful of deadlines, and a true team player, always willing to jump in to help others finish a project. She listens thoughtfully to feedback from all areas of the company–sales, marketing, and editorial–and incorporates it into work that pleases all stakeholders without losing its originality and charm. She’s truly something special!’
Hanna Otero, publisher Lonely Planet Kids
‘Tina was an invaluable member of Lonely Planet’s Trade and Reference department for the following reasons. She has exceptional design skills and judgement, creating great concepts, layouts and covers, and she also contributed her own brilliant illustrations. Not content with bringing other people’s ideas to life, she successfully pitched her own book proposals. Tina brought an extensive list of contacts and was always extremely resourceful in finding the right contributors for each project, keeping carefully to budgets and deadlines. And her commitment and positive can-do attitude were peerless. In short, she was an excellent colleague to have around.’
Robin Barton, Associate Publisher of Lonely Planet Trade & Reference
‘I would have no hesitation in recommending Tina to anyone: she is a very talented, clever designer and artist and a very steady, patient hand to steer a project from the beginning, though every stage to an impressive completion. Tina is a delight to work with.’
Michael Leventhal, Publisher of Green Bean Books
